Flickerings Film Showcase Entry Form
Print and complete one entry form (photocopies acceptable) for each film.
"Film" is broadly defined: entries may be shot on any format, but entry
formats are now limited to DVD. Unacceptable formats will
not be considered, and all entries will be kept by Flickerings and archived.
(Do not send masters.) Works not in English must be subtitled. Only works
completed after January 1, 2007 will be accepted. Enclose $10 entry fee for each
mailed package of film(s). All entries in a single package must have
been created by the same filmmaker. Postmark deadline for entries is March 1,
2008. Make checks out to "Cornerstone Festival," and mail to address below.
Filmmakers whose entries have been chosen will be notified by EMAIL by May 1, 2008.
Every reasonable effort will be made to protect entries from damage or loss,
but the festival cannot assume liability for damage or loss. Entrant warrants
that the Entry is Entrant's own original work and does not infringe on any
right of any third party, including intellectual property rights and rights
of privacy. (Materials copyrighted to Third Parties may be used only with
legal permission of the owner of copyright.) Entrant agrees to and hereby
does release and hold harmless Cornerstone Festival (Jesus People USA) from
and against any losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind
resulting from claims based on infringement of copyrighted material,
publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Select entries may be
screened both at the Flickerings Showcase and also other Cornerstone Festival
venues. Flickerings reserves the right to broadcast or publish excerpts or
other appropriate segments of selected works in print or electronic media to
promote the event. With permission from filmmaker, select entries may be
posted online or compiled later for distribution.
