Cornerstone Festival

Film Showcase

Flickerings is pleased to announce the films selected for our 2006 Film Showcase, which will take place July 6-8, at Cornerstone Festival. Once again, our Call to Entries was answered by filmmakers at all levels, and we've assembled an exciting new program of short narrative, documentary, experimental and animated films.

The 2006 Showcase will also screen a pair of independent features, including a documentary about Cornerstone Festival favorite Brother Danielson. And director Sidney King will present his debut feature, Pearl Diver, as well as lead a series of workshops on making the independent feature. (See Seminars page for more programming geared especially for filmmakers.)

Congratulations to all those filmmakers who will be sharing their work and vision with us in the 2006 Flickerings Film Showcase. And thanks also to everyone who sent in a film. We hope many of you filmmakers will be joining us in person this July in the amazing ongoing community and conversation that is Flickerings.
