Jordan, Morning Light
Jordan Allott was born in Reading, England. He studied for two years
at the University of Chaminade in Hawaii, and recently graduated from
UW-Madison.
Angiello,
Nick, America Under Attack
Nick
Angiello was been working in film since he was young and aspires
to become a successful director in Hollywood. Over the past four
years, he has worked on a public access show in Peoria, Illinois,
The A.J. Show. His production company, NCA Productions, has
made many short films and commercials in Central Illinois.
Baliva,
Zach, Graduation Day
Zach
Baliva is a Chicago-based freelance filmmaker. He enjoys working
in various mediums including 8mm, 16mm, and Mini-DV. Graduation
Day is the debut film from Baliva and his production company,
CrosseyedPictures.com. In April, 2002, Crosseyed Pictures
will start Under the Sun, a film loosely based on Ecclesiastes.
Busbee, Ron, Addiction
Ron
Busbee did it all for this music video, concept, camera, editing,
and special effects, for the band Judas. Ron is a producer for Ronald
James Television, a production company that makes commercials, music
videos, and other programming.
Casper,
Jeremy, Follow You
Jeremy
Casper graduated from the Los Angeles Film Studies Center in the
fall of 1996 and interned on the film Titanic. Casper lived
and worked in Hollywood before pursuing a masters degree in Filmmaking
from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Casper is currently
writing several projects and plans to begin production on his fourth
short film this summer..
Clark,
Mary Ann, The Makeovers
MaryAnn
Clark is a recent graduate of Regent University, achieving her M.A.
in Communication, and specializing in film directing and editing.
She has B.A. from the University of Maryland in English LIterature.
The Makeovers is her first foray into the world of film festivals.
Collins,
Joe, The Road Home
Joe
Collins worked in television for fifteen years before going to work
for Fellowship Misionary Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Road
Home was created for a Christmas Even service at the church.
Garrett,
Jason, Dang
Originally
from North Carolina, Jason graduated from Lees-McRae College with
a B.A. in Theatre Arts. He then went on to get his Master's Degree
in Filmmaking from Regent University in Virginia Beach. Jason wrote
and directed the award winning, short film DANG!, available
to order from Barefoot Road. He moved to Sioux Falls, SD in July
of 2001 to cut pictures together for Vision Video, but no matter
how much he likes the town he refuses to say "Pop" instead
of "Soda."
Hertenstein,
Mike, All in His Hands:
Backstage at Cornerstone
A long-time
writer for Cornerstone magazine, Mike has created promo videos
for Cornerstone Festival and also produced and directed more than
a dozen music videos for Grrr records artists like Glenn Kaiser,
The Crossing, Crashdog and Resurrection Band. Mike spends his spare
time converting his screenplay ideas into novels and then back again.
Hillis,
Rod, Samson the Nazarite
Rod, his
wife and three kids provided most of the voices for this claymation
account of the life of Samson. The family also shared in the creation
of the sets and clay figures. "Each of us created our own clay
characters for the opening 'bedtime story' scene," Rod says.
"My daughter who was six at the time made her clay figure much
larger than the others, so my wife traded with her. The entire video
was captured one frame at a time directly to the hard drive of my
computer. Rod also has made a claymation video on the life of David.
Klassen, Bevan, Absent
Bevan
Klassen has been making small films in Winnipeg, Canada since 1997.
He is married with three children. Bevan's films are character-driven
narratives concerned with alienation and childhood. He hopes to
direct a feature film some day.

Joel Mariano
is an independent artist who got his MFA from the Experimental Animation
program at the School of FIlm/Video at the California Institute of
the Arts, Valencia, California, in 1987. He has been working professionally
in computer graphics commercially since 1988.
Makinney,
Katherine, destiny
After
moving to L.A. four years ago to pursue her dream as a filmmaker,
Kathrine Makinney graduated from the UCLA Professional Screenwriting
Program. She was a finalist in the UCLA student competition and
optioned one of her scripts. After working as a Production Asisant
on a few AFI shorts, she helped to produce the award-winning Glory
Girl, then wrote, directed and produced The Limited,
which won several awards at festivals, including the Best of Show
at the 2001 Dahmah International Film Festival.
Masucci,
Dan, Murphey's Law
After
spending time on the west coast writing a feature script, Dan headed
back to Upstate New York where he and his brother Joe formed the
filmmaking fraternity of Fountainhead Pictures and shot Pistole
di Morte. The Masucci brothers' run and gun method of filmmaking
is one they call pistole shooting. He finds that it keeps his creative
eye open for opportunities on location.

Kevin
Nikkel is an independent filmmaker from Winnipeg, a city on the
mostly frozen Canadian prairie. He has a growing list of short video
projects under his belt and is saving his pennies to shoot more
stories on 16mm stock. When he is not making indie films, he is
helping run Catacomb Microcinema, and when he is not doing that
he is trying to keep up with his day job as a high school English
teacher.
Osterbauer,
Dwayne, Bad Bug Bee and
the Pirate Ants

Osterbauer is a writer/producer/director at Daniel Four Motion Pictures
and an executive producer at Triad Video. Bad Bug Bee was
created with Adobe Premiere and CorelDraw, which required over a
year to animate.

Carl
Rust was born and raised in the Midwest, was a theater major his
first time in college, got married, had kids, sold insurance, worked
for a newspaper, got divorced, became a pro wrestler, became a college
student again, made some videos in college, became a teacher, rediscovered
faith, wrote some novels, began playing bass, wrote some songs,
got married again, learnt guitar, wrote some more songs, worked
with students and filmmaking, joined a band, quit the band, made
a CD, joined another band, got a master's degree, decided to make
a movie.
Sorrentino,
Vinny, Pillar: All Day, Everyday
Vinny
Sorrentino started producing film in 1988. He produced The Sidewalk
Motel a docudrama about homelessness that started CHristopher
Hewett and won a Gold Award at the Houston International Film Festival.
Sorrentino also won a Director's Choice Award for his short documentary,
The Modernization of New Jersey Steel. Vinny created Hollywood
christian Films to produce films that will promote positive messages
of the Bible by using contemporary music and themes.
Stranz,
Judah, Lint in My Pocket
Born
in 1977, Judah Stranz has worked as a graphic designer for an international
Christian ministry since he was 18. At age 19, Judah took up the
call to spread the good news of Christian Alternative music to the
teens of South Bend, Indiana, through concert promotion. Recently,
Judah has jumped into digital video with serious aspirations for
future film projects.
Waitman,
Lon, Evolution
Producer/Director
Lon Waitman is one of God's 'gypsies.' His background includes acting,
directing, producing, mime, juggling, writing, video editing, web
design, animation, and street performing in various nations. He
presently lives and ministers in Atlanta, GA with his sweet wife
Katherine.
